Ad Infinitum (Diptych)
Zeroed in view of turbulent refractions in water. Oil on 5 feet square canvas.
What we are looking at here is an extreme zeroing of fervent refractions within water, depicted as a diptych in micro and macro, on two 5 feet canvas. The original 1.5cm digital image seen on canvas in the centre square is then enlarged and executed in 150cm square canvas. As the title suggests; depicted here is an affinity with the infinite and a play on percptual take.
Macro and micro are conveyed when the work was on show at Trinity Buoy Wharf (see in the YouTube video below). Two 150cm canvases; one depicts the actual size of the image in the centre, 1.5cm, the other canvas (aforementioned) enlarged at 150cm square.
