Nebulous Spheroid

Skywards gaze of a single raindrop, times one million in scale.

So we are looking up into the cloudy sky in the midst of heavy rain up on the North Downs, England. Captured here in a single frame; an extreme zeroed in view of a raindrop times one million in scale. A nebulous spheroid akin with notions of the sublime.

The painting, captures a moment of awe—an essential aspect of the Sublime. The work offers a unique perspective of the raindrop, transforming the everyday into something vast and overwhelming. This nebulous spheroid, depicted on a 5-foot canvas, evokes the Sublime by transcending ordinary perception. For dyslexic artists, this heightened sensitivity to detail and scale reflects their unique cognitive approach to interpreting the world, offering an expansive, almost otherworldly perspective that challenges sensory limits.
